Speak to your reader
There's so many SEO companies out there that'll obsess about things like keyword densities, meta tags and how many headings you have on your web page.
Does your reader give a soggy banana about these things? Well, no, of course.
Developing content that will supposedly get you on page one of search engine results by trying to trick the likes of Google is just plain silly. Firstly, the people of Google are pretty clever, and are more likely to penalise your content than not. Secondly, on the assumption that you reach the top of the results, it's no good if your perfect customer can't make head nor tail of what's written on your page. Your site visit results may go through the roof, but if sales don't follow then you've wasted your time and money.
If, however, your site contains information that is useful to your target customer then that's really all you need. Just tell them what they want to know in a concise way, using terminology and a style that they'll appreciate - in the same way you would if you were talking in person.
Keep it light, easy to read and well designed, and people will delve further - or even get in touch.
