Email Marketing Tips
Email marketing remains an important tool in many marketers' kit. From bulk email offers, through regular newsletters to order acknowledgements and updates, email is a useful way of communicating with your customers and would-be customers.
Here's some tips on getting your message in front of your audience rather than ending up in the bin.
Get the subject right

The subject line is probably the most important part of your email campaign. Many people will scan through their inbox, simply deleting anything that doesn't immediately look interesting. Matching the subject line to your target audience will mean more people will open your message.
Get the sender name right
The sender name is nearly as important as the subject line. Keep it consistent so people recognise it.
Use the first piece of text in your message
The first line of text in your email is picked up and displayed along with the subject by most email clients and mobile devices. It's another opportunity to push the most compelling part of your message.
Test on multiple devices & email clients
Your email is going to be read by people using a wide variety of email clients. From webmail to mobile devices, and Microsoft Outlook to Mail on Apple Mac.
You'll need to design your email to be easy to read on all likely devices. And remember that not everyone will allow images to display by default.
