On Demand Marketing

To hire a professional marketer on the payroll is a huge leap of faith, and for one with a good track record is going to cost serious money. Then you may have to wait six months or so while they bed down, attune themselves with your corporate culture and see if their initiatives are working for you. If it doesn't work out, you have to make a case to end the employment and then you’ll have severance pay/redundancy to agree on. But don’t let me put you off.

The truth is, there are many organisations that may need a marketer, but with the best will in the world, it really isn't a full time post. A long established company that sells to a small group of organisations and has always traditionally done well would be a good example. However, such an organisation would benefit with someone who can maintain the best of press relations on the one hand, whist keeping a weather eye open for their competitors' activities, and highlighting slip-ups as and when they occur would be most useful. But it’s still not a full time post.

We know this. Big Red Moose has been put together by professional marketers, and we’re not given to self-delusion. So why not hire your professional, "outsourced" marketer on a freelance, part-time basis through us? No payroll, no PAYE, no national insurance, no need to worry about company pension scheme, and certainly no company car. Just a sensible monthly invoice to process: sorted.

If any of this has touched a nerve, or you simply need to develop a clearer marketing direction, give us a call or drop us a line. It’s what we do.
